1. 1. Yatra Registration Slip is mandatory for availing Helicopter ticket at "Current Heli-ticket Counter".
2. 2. ID Proof of all the members of family (who intent to avail Heli ticket) will be required for current booking.
3. 4. Yatries shall beware of Touts/Travel Agents taking money for Helicopter Tickets. (Rate of Ticket (one side) Rs.2100/- per person.
4. 5. The tax rates as applicable shall charged on the date of Travel at the respective location in Katra/Sanjichhat.

B. Acute mountain sickness (AMS):-

It is one of the most common types of sickness and arises at an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level. The most common symptoms of this are breathing problems, dizziness, headaches, muscle pain, vomiting, loss of sleep, and nausea. The most common medicine that you can keep with you is dexamethasome, which is an asteroid that will help your body control AMS. Acetazolamide is another prescription medicine that you can take to cure or prevent AMS.

C. High-Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE):-

It is more severe than AMS and is caused by the swelling of brain tissue. This ailment is so dangerous that it may even cause coma or death in the patient. Some of its symptoms are breathing problems, visual impairments, partial paralysis, drowsiness, confusion, etc. If you feel any of the above, consult your team leader or guide for medication and proper treatment. Dexamethasone is the medicine for curing it, but you should consult any doctor or guide as soon as possible; otherwise, it could be very dangerous.

D. High-Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE):-

The most dangerous type of altitude sickness is high-altitude pulmonary edema. It will result in breathing problems due to the accumulation of fluid in the lungs. The most common symptoms for this are shortness of breath even when resting, dry cough, bright red sputum, chest tightness, and an increased heart rate. The best option is to consult the doctor as soon as possible to avoid any losses.
